Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows, including the revival of Violet and also played lead roles in the Broadway performances including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of 15. Her next appearances were in Bunheads and Psych in addition to Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. as a solo performer, Sutton has performed all over the US in addition to internationally along with her musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her first solo CD "Wish" along with her second album "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." The singer performed on stages at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub among others. Ball State University conferred her with an Honorary PhD in the year 2011. In addition to being an advisor and professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received this honor by Ball State University. Since March of 2015 the new TVLand series "Younger", which was developed by Darren Star is a hit.
